These underwater photos and video snippets come from a trip from August 21-24 2000 - Bimini to Cay Sal Bank, Bahamas.
The Gulfstream Eagle departed West Palm Beach on a route that included Bimini, some smaller cays on the Great Bahama Bank west of Andros, then both the east and west sides of Cay Sal bank. Originally scheduled for 6 days, the arrival of winds from Hurricane Debbie shortened the trip to 3.
Weather was sunny throughout, but with increasing winds as the week wore on. We did 5 dives per day including a night dive the first two days, then 3 dives and depart on the 3rd day.
Battery issues with the venerable Nikon RS limited the successful photos to being video stills. It's good video country, as many big critters to shoot.
